Introduction

MERPI is Syticks comprehensive ticketing API infrastructure that connects businesses with the tools to be able to provide ticketing offerings to their users. We offer a wide range of ticketing solutions for various industries, including entertainment, transportation, and cinema. Our API empowers businesses to extend their reach and provide a convenient ticketing experience for their customers.

The Merpi Infrastructure has 2 major parts. There’s the:

Merpi API System

This is a collection of endpoints that can be used in your mobile app, websites and POS terminals. Merchants with accounts can make calls to endpoints to fetch ticket related data like experiences, cinemas, bus routes. Endpoints to also purchase experience, cinema and bus transport tickets are also available on the Merpi API.

The Merpi Dashboard

The Dashboard/Portal that allows merchants/business that integrate our API to be able to monitor ticket sales -> tickets that their users are purchasing, their commissions, make withdrawals, see their customer lists, get access to their API keys, add their payout account details amidst a lot of other features.

Note: You need an API key to be able to call any endpoint. This will be shown to you in the Authorization section. There are 2 environment types:

• Staging Environment.

• Live Environment.

Please, endeavor to use your Staging Key during development(while still testing and integrating the Merpi API. And please, remember to use the Live Key when you move to production.
